Contact Dickinson County Courts

Dickinson County Court Docket is a private reference, not a court office. Requests for a case history, a hearing date, an official paper, or a filing route must go to the court that maintains the matter. The contacts below distinguish the trial-court clerk from the County Clerk/Register of Deeds, whose county-record duties do not make that office the custodian of judicial case files.

Not a court office. Dickinson County Court Docket cannot retrieve a court file, set or reset a hearing, issue a certified record, file a document, or give legal advice. Direct those requests to the court clerk or court identified below.

Official Docket and Record Contacts

Start with MiCOURT Case Search for a public case history. The search is informational rather than the official record. The Dickinson County Court System identifies the local court structure. For papers, certification, access restrictions, a court date, or a case not found online, call the court that holds the file before going to the courthouse campus at 705 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, MI 49801.

  • 95B District Court clerk: misdemeanor, traffic, preliminary-examination, lower civil, small-claims, and summary-proceeding case histories; 906-774-0506
  • 41st Circuit Court clerk: felony cases after bindover, major civil, family, PPO, and district-appeal records; 906-774-2266
  • Dickinson County Probate Court register: estates, trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, and other probate matters; 906-774-1555
  • County Clerk/Register of Deeds: Carol Bronzyk’s office coordinates county administrative, vital, and land records, not court case histories; 906-774-0988, fax 906-774-4660
  • Authorized electronic filing: MiFILE through TrueFiling is the filing route for authorized filers, not a public docket viewer

The County Clerk/Register of Deeds is also at 705 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, MI 49801. General county office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central. For a judicial record, make a targeted request to the court clerk under MCR 8.119. A county Freedom of Information Act request pertains to county administrative records and does not override a court-file restriction. Public inspection of a public case history carries no access fee; a certified record generally costs $10 plus $1 per page, while transcript requests go to the court reporter or recorder.
